Mildred is an interesting woman. She had the foresight to refuse to continue broadcasting after another woman began using her moniker because she was good at walking a very fine line. I wonder if she might've had a lesser sentence if we could've prosecuted her Italian imitator for treason. Unlike Mildred, she renounced her American citizenship to retain the family estate, thereby excluding her from our legal system.
