would not recommend this whole book to anyone only specific stories fs

it’s so odd so so odd

after getting five stories in i can say with full confidence i am still intrigued. it’s very odd but interesting to think about how this is actually how life was in china during the cultural revolution.

ranking of the stories so far:

1. winds and clouds over a funeral
2. sovereignty
3. in broad daylight
4. the richest man
5. man to be

it’s odd. so unsettling. i did not know what i was getting into. so vulgar still 6/10
