Not sure how much more of this I can take. It’s a romance novel: “She didn’t like him, and that fact intrigued him” (78). Gag me with a spoon! Also, the writing is weak and full cliches, as though all southern women are “sassy” and raised by alligators. I might have to DNF this one.
