I'm literally still in the introduction but it is so uncanny to see Lister talk about dismantling the patriarchy, reclaiming what it means to be a woman and honouring the history of our female ancestors only to IMMEDIATELY apologise for prioritising women and femaleness in this book because she doesn't mean to exclude anybody

things like these simultaneously break my heart (that we feel as though we have to do that or get dogpiled) and make me angry because how are you going to put "unapologetic" in the title and then be this spineless.
but to be honest the more I read the more I think this should have stayed in instagram captions
