"Chapter 4 and Ryker is finally introduced! I also had to do a quick check up on the word "though" it is used 48 times after a couple of sentences. I know this is not the final edit but I am super bummed bc I keep seeing that word and it's not necessary.

I can't stand Kat. I'm not connecting with her, and she's annoying me. I feel like the beginning has a lot of unnecessary info that I am hoping ties back to something important later on otherwise I will be disappointed. AND the commas, oh my god, someone stop the commas, please, enough, already! I know this is not the final version so I am hoping the editor catches the abusive use of commas in every single page.
