Her way of protecting her secret is t make it painfully obvious that she is supernatural without actually revealing her grim reaper title. I wish she hid it better. Saying "There are eight girls buried over there and that missing girl is over there" when she could've said "I found skeletal remains over there. I think we should have this place searched for more bodies than we originally thought" would be smart.
