Well... Elena, don't feel bad, he was doing the same but contrary to you, he has always thought it was Manuela's fault and not his.
I just despise Ricardo so much, reading from his POV is a constant hurry to be over with the book. Elena's part of the story has been way better. Gilt from a different side.
