I want to like this book, but so far the construction of the arguments is a little shoddy, it acts as if we can know what the historical Jesus wanted by using the non historical Jesus's stories. Just kind of rambles on in the first part without stating the point of where it is going and thereby diluting the point when they get there.

I hope it gets better.
