For a rather short horror novel it sure took its time before starting to pick up. I don't think it's been a bad book so far but it was starting to lose my attention there for a bit but thankfully things seemed to have been kicked into a higher gear now

At the final stretch and it still feels like we know barely nothing about what's going in. What I mean is at 75% we're still getting surface level details...stuff you normally would have in the beginning. A bit let down so far.
