I really love the character Nicole. I hate Benton's parents even more than before. I'm enjoying the book even though it definitely feels unpolished.

The book actually ends at 85%, the rest is a teaser for book 2. I enjoyed this overall, but portions of it definitely were rough. I'm glad it looks like the series will focus on both Nicole and Benton, I don't think either one of them can support a series on their own.
The book actually has a proper ending, wrapping up this monster. It also has proper hooks for future books instead of just ending.

Most of the characters are interesting. That being said I had his parents and Vicyor feels poorly developed. Enjoying the book overall.

The writing definitely feels rough. Interesting though. I expect this will be a quick read.

Finished the first chapter. It's a bit rough but that's probably just the author getting her feet in this particular story. I had already forgotten "red riding hoods" name, but the description made it pretty clear it was Nicole.

I decided to read this because of the strength of the authors story in Tavern of Terror vol 1.
It starts with a little red riding hood esq character talking to someone apparently dating a monster... then jumps to the actual MCs dream sequence about a killer.
The beginning feels a bit too abrupt... its offputting and honestly kind of discouraging.
Dont worry, I'll give it a proper chance though!
