I didn't like clowns before but after this... Oh boy. You're right, this is a masterpiece of modern horror. The psychology of the characters is wonderfully crafted.

Yeah for me the clown was the scariest too lol
Clowns really have it hard in the world, it's not really a good paying job, it's not really a prestigious job, you are a clown!
Your job is to make people laugh at your own expense, It's the perfect job to produce a sad sad person, who is supposed to make people laugh or he won't be able to eat!
But that clown was scary xD
