Dain is annoying, this dialogue is SO clunky and also this feels very predictable (ooh there’s a black dragon that’s so strong and smart and the best ever but hasn’t bonded with a human in a while. I wonder who Violet’s dragon is going to be)

Ok but is it actually good enough that I should read it knowing that the next book is only coming out in November?

I didn't enjoy it, sadly haha! It's worth giving it a shot if you're interested but I didn't like it :(
