I've been pretty fascinated by Stefan Zweig as a name since he was name dropped in that famous Wes Anderson movie. I only read the introduction thus far which takes an ambivalent stance on Zweig's career and politics, saying his dream for world peace induced by common values of humanism transmitted through culture and art was self-deception. It leaves me feeling lukewarm to explore the rest of the collection, onward!
