Began reading this because I needed a break from the slow moving Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell and so far I'm not loving it. The premise sounds sooooo friggin cute! But the writing is kind of awful. I'm going to stick it out a while longer and hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel but all I want right now is to read a REALLY GREAT BOOK!!!!
