This was a nice treat. Has anyone read these and know if the heroines are somehow connected? Or if it’s a spoiler, do we know a link of why they find portals to the past and why chosen? I guess I’m trying to figure if they’re just standalone or not.

I’m enjoying this much better than the other series I read by her. I’ll definitely give her another chance after this.

K. After this book starts my annual Highlands month or two. I’ve been in England too long. While this is highlands maybe - this is more a one off free or sale book I got that I’ve been reading through. For the next couple months it’s yay highlands!
