Not a lot of story so far, just worldbuilding. Lots of worldbuilding. It’s a cool setting, but the main character doesn’t have a goal and there are no stakes. Just find a supposedly extinct thunder tiger or…or upset the shogun? Nobody seems nervous about what will happen if they fail.
