The short answer to your question is no. I will admit that I was also disappointed, unfortunately it ended up being one of my 2 least favourite RG books. I guess these things happen, but it makes it extra disappointing when you've been looking forward to a read so much and it just didn't meet your hopes / expectations.

I guess these things happen, but it makes i..."I just finished it, not my favorite by a long shot. I think the big thing for me was the bickering between them and I did not really like Sam.
Sam was very unlikable through the first 90% of the book. It wrapped up a little too quickly and neatly as well. Maybe my least favorite in the series.
