True to its name it is written so it's easy to understand and follow. I say this because I've read a few books on this subject and end up stopping because they're VERY in depth, hard to follow and keep up with all the names, dates and statistics. I recommend this one as a starter book for anyone interested in the topic. Also a great primer to read before checking out any Historical Fiction that is set during ww2
