i have so many thoughts abt this book but i can’t articulate any of them. strange book. the common theme of ‘gender stereotypical bdsm lifestyle where emotionally distant man controls decisions of angsty woman’ that’s in rooneys books is kind of uncomfortable not to kink shame or anything

i like rooney but this writing style is very millennial (derogatory)
