Books with foot/end notes make me want to die. You are going to have to tell me if it's worth it. I am counting on you.

Reading it on Kindle has been a breeze, you just tap the links to go back and forth to the endnotes. If I had had a hard copy I might have lashed out by now.

FWIW I'm quite enjoying it: it has some great comic moments and intriguing world-building, but it balances out with moments of such staggering pretentiousness that I literally can't even. It thoroughly deserves its reputation as a book that white men like.
