i think the book is trying to portray how gruesome/unpredictable the life of a rider is but. it doesn't really come off the way the author intends it. like the scene w jeremiah the inntinnsic where the prof just breaks his neck. like what. the lack of explanation doesnt help

i hate love triangles and i hate enemies to lovers even more so like half of this book is just fucking annoying. the world building is great though
