John Hancock has a knack for seeming to be a simple man. His writing draws you in with a matter-of-fact sort of telling, lulling the reader into his story. It reminds me of how you boil a frog: start out with cold water and slowly turn up the heat. Poor thing never realizes he is over heating, until the frog is boiled through. John did that to me, captured me, pulled in ever so gently and then he made me cry. love it
