some gross revelations coming out of R Crumbs personality - guess it proves the authenticity of it as a dream diary. kind of made me want to stop reading but then I figured it’s a library book so I’m not supporting anything… plus maybe it’s not fair to judge someone over dreams they can’t control; some really beautiful things about Crumb reveal themselves in the dreams as well… interesting…

really enjoyable absurdism that accidentally has the perfect blend of believability due to it being a literal dream diary. the realness - and obvious lack of intention to ever publish this book - does have some draw backs. Particularly that the “chapters” are too short to be absolutely immersive. it’s hard to criticise a book never made for publish though
