A recent upload to Gutenberg. Was expecting a kids' book with a magical wishing carpet, but the carpet turns out to be a metaphor in an adult novel. Despite that disappointment, the enjoyably acrid prose has kept me reading.

The book is, so far, a lot more fun than that blurb portends. (Though I have put it aside momentarily due to a library sale that has wafted an enormous pile of physical books onto the storage room floor.)
