I just love this series. I love how real the characters are—they are fallible without being annoying, grappling with their faith and the call the High One has on their lives, seeking His way when the path is unclear. It’s real life in fantasy form.🥹

I am not liberal with giving out 5⭐ ratings, so do not be put off by my 3 & 4⭐ ratings of this series. I gave the first 2 books 3⭐ because of some "new-author-feels" in the writing, but I give 3⭐ to books I like, and I did like them. I really enjoyed the second 2 books, and that "new-author-feel" lessened, so they got 4⭐, which is high praise from me.😅 (I just really want to reserve 5⭐ for the best of the best, ya know?)
Anyway, I am going to be an ARC reader for the last book, so I wanted to reread Maker to get my head back in that world and remind myself of what was going on before I start Manifest. Let me know what you think if you read them!
