Why yes, I did just finish this book. Trawling for the truths that can only be reconciled on a second read.

Such a rare treat, a book that commands immediate rereading.

I love this book. It’s so bold, and I have no idea how it is going to end.

Oof. A literary punch to the addled gut.

Every time Bret (narrator and author) mentions Shingy the dog, I cringe, fearing the horrors that surely await it. Otherwise, I’m fully immersed in this world of a rich closeted bisexual teenage boy in LA.

Deeply enjoying.

This book makes me yearn for Wayfarers, Docksiders, a sexy convertible, and a world I’ve never even come CLOSE to ever knowing.
