Not only has Mara had to worry about the murder of her assistant but she also almost ran into the O'Kelly's clansmen who wants to assassinate King Turlough Donn.

Mara has her plate absolutely full with her investigations.

The plot thickens! After Mara have learned of her assistant's blackmail and his untimely demise, she quickly investigates.

But who could the murderer be, and why?

I have started reading this book and so far its really good. : )

I love the narrating and the main heroine.
