I just want to comment and hope that my fellow mom readers will see it and be advised that they should NOT read this book if they do not want to literally weep within the first 12 pages. I’m not positive I can finish this one and I only very rarely leave a book unfinished but I am having a very visceral reaction.

If you are having this type of reaction this early on I'd advise not continuing with this book. It only gets worse.
