Naval Control: 4/5, fits with an O’Brien story but not sure how much I’m influenced by the editors and the general appreciation of his works by this point. Still, a fun story in its own right.

[For] Ireland Home & Beauty: 4/5, an early draft of The Martyr’s Crown along with emendations, still a great short story and fascinating to see the little changes he made and how it took shape.
