An older series of hers. I’ve heard it has some things that aren’t sort of current standards but that this is the weakest in the series.

She’s a great writer as always but this story is a bit meh. But it’s older. And I look forward to the next book!

Thanks! I love her books and figured I’d try an older series. But I know that comes with things that will be upsetting - how the older highlands stories were. I’m glad we moved from that in the subgenre and she’s one of the ones who successfully moved from it so it is kind of disturbing to read one from this horrible themes highlands has moved from. I look forward to the rest of the series though!
