If we need another brazil worth of farmland, can’t we just reduce global inefficiency to help? Apparently 70% of all crops aren’t used by humans or the meat industry (pg27) so shouldn’t that help?

Now the population guesses for 2050 is 9.5 billion, earlier it was 8.6, then a page after that it was 8.4. A bit sloppy….

The history within this book is suspect:

McClellan was replaced in 1862, not 1864,. Gettysburg was 1863, the war did not end “shortly” after, it took over a year and a half as claimed in pages 81-82.

Neanderthals did produce hybrids with humans and left a genetic mark in Eurasia (and maybe even with aboriginals?), unlike what pg 42 says
