I finally encountered something I didn't like in this series. I don't like how Madam Chien reacted. And I specially don't like how to author wrote the scene around it. The world is ending. It's no time for being morally right and coddling old granny so she feels better about what little existence she has left. I thought we were being progressive? But this just reeks of generational trauma.
