بعد الحرب، المذابح والقبور الجماعية. جلس الجنرالان المتحاربان يحتسيان مشروبا ويتذكران بحنين أيام خدمتهما في الجيش البريطاني.
قال الجنرال مانكشاو:
أحسنت صنعا إذ استسلمت يا معالي الجنرال.
قال الجنرال نيازي:
وأنت...لقدحاربت ببراعة.
