I like the characters, the plot is exciting, the historical/worldbuilding details are great. But...too much depends on the 2 MC's deeply horny lusting for each other...in almost every chapter. Also too much haram touching. I'm glad Ranya recognizes that it's wrong but disappointed that she takes her hijab off and bellydances for a half-white man. I just hope she straightens up by the end...

LOL YOU GUYS 😂😂😂 thank you for being just as shocked as I was. She started off being very strong willed and now look what too much lust does—while continuously choosing to be alone with this guy. This girl needs some guidance and I’m hoping she finds it by the end of this book otherwise I will be very disappointed😭

Ranya was strong and proud and values her religion and culture. So I was really upset to see the arc turn into this. I still have hope that by the end she will improve, because unlike media produced by white people, in this one she actually acknowledges she's doing something wrong. Not holding my breath though
