I'm currently reading 'The Bee Sting' by Paul Murray which involves two young women - one pretty, one plain - getting ready for university in Ireland, AND, 'I'm Not Done With You Yet' by Jesse Q. Sutanto, about two young women - one pretty, one plain - attending Oxford. I feel like I need some sort of scorecard to keep everything straight. So far, I'd definitely recommend both books . . . just not at the same time.

It's a very LONG book, but I'm enjoying it so far.
I can read multiple books if it's different genres or time periods( I.e.: not two books set during the Civil War)

Luckily, about 85 pages in, The Bee Sting's author has switched his focus to the younger brother's story, so I'm not quite as bewildered as before.
I was intrigued by The Bee Sting.
