A little confused with plot, when did Walter get all the power? Very frustrated with Cain, his refusal to acknowledge his own feelings when even Stella can sense what is between Al'Bah and him is driving me nuts! Lol

As I get deeper into the story I am greatly impressed by the representation of Cain's struggle with his faith. It is almost mind-boggling to me that he still does not accept the existence of "the Creator" after everything he has witnessed and experienced. Before each chapter the author has provided a drawing and quote from a character in the book, they are very cool and help to visualize the story.

My interest continues to grow. The interaction between Al'Bah and Cain is very well written. I like Charles as a character. Can't wait to find out more about him. Lots of info happening right now in the story.
