I thought I could listen to this in one go, but it’s very much a man’s book. Hence it being my husband’s favourite. I needed a little break from this, as there’s still 43.5hrs remaining.

I have listened to the 1st book within this book before, and I am now attempting to give it another shot. I am enjoying it much more this time.

This is my husband's favourite book, so I will come back to this, to find out the secrets to life!
After re-reading book 1, and now probably have to re-read book 2, as I've lost track a bit. I enjoyed the story better 2nd time round, as there are a lot of characters to follow. This book requires more time. The audio is great for falling asleep to, and actually reminds me of my bedtime stories, weirdly enough.

After finishing book 1 of Musashi, my husband quizzed me about the characters. I was a little confused, as they had similar sounding names. Otsu, Otsugi, Ogine, Okowa. Even Takeum & Takezawa began to cross over.
So I decided to re-read the first section, before the plot thickens. I really enjoyed it second-time round! I noticed that I had missed out on some interesting & important pieces of background info.

Only 51 hours to go lol!
So far it reminds me of my bedtime stories as a child. So I wouldn't recommend reading it forst thing in the morning, unless you're planning on chilling out all day.
