I decided not to buy a copy, so I've got my name on a library waiting list. Should be about a month before I reach the head of the list.

Ah ha! I suspect that I may have *just* finished it by then. I am enjoying this book very much but... it has 643 pages!
I'm glad you're enjoying The Bee Sting, even though it's a long read. The book made it to the Booker long-list. If I'm not mistaken, Skippy Dies also appeared on the Booker long-list the year it was published.
