Still brilliant and via it discovered another amazing book and author David Jones 'In Parenthesis', I had never heard of him or the work, but people Like Yeats, T S Elliot, Robert Graves and so many more, including Davidson, thought it was a work of genius and the best book about WWI - so that is another must read and soon!

A wonderful memoir, what I love is that it has led me to an author I had never heard of but intend to seek out - Carlo Coccioli -I think he is going to be quite a find.
