Christ on a CRUTCH, this one is hard to get through. The writing is beautiful, of course it is beautiful. But, I am struggling to care. I just don't know that I can care about this young woman. I will finish out of reverence for the marvelous Amy Tan. Just might collect a little dust along the way.
