Urgh. Unexplained continuity error has just pulled my head out of this story a bit. In chapter 1, Uriel is described as having an "eternal(ly) young face", but he's just now been described as a man in his 50's. So it's totally destroyed the image I have had of him throughout over 50% of the book! :-(
