We are also raising critical questions about what it means to be part of a faith tradition that holds its own historical patriarchal imprint in thought and practice…Furthermore we are challenging how deeply entrenched values and attitudes about gender unfairly prejudice Muslim women & girls making them vulnerable to abuse and personal violation these are often tacitly considered appropriately religious and normal.
