First chapter went into an overview of how Appalachians went from being well regarded to thought of as peasants and poor. Second chapter is focusing on capitalism and communism and how they negatively view people who live off the land

Might have to take my time reading this because it’s been a while since I’ve read a legitimately well researched comprehensive book but it’s super good so far I can’t wait to finish it
