I agree about the heroine. I had so much hope for her when she declined to dance with him, I thought here was a heroine that wasn’t going to be led around by her libido, she’d actually use her head. I was wrong. Unfortunately it seems like her backbone only appears in the first chapter.
I’m halfway through and just because I do not like DNF’ing a book I will finish. It definitely is not a re-read.
