Feel cheated. Was expecting book to be about the Battle of Atlanta, the next logical step after Shiloh, Vicksburg, Chattanooga. But Shaara skipped Atlanta and started Sherman's march, where relatively little happens and I have already read Doctorow's "The March." But will soldier on myself and see what I can learn. Shaara's use of dialogue here has regressed from "The Smoke at Dawn."
