“Usher II” is a beautiful tribute segment to the one and only Edgar Allan Poe. Lots of nods to Poe’s works. The story is science fiction x gothic, weird and murderous at the same time.

Of all the short stories so far, “The Martian” impressed me the most. It was heartbreaking how lingering melancholy of the dead can still affect the living so much, after all those years.
