Bruh out of nowhere Flint turns out to be gay and has loved Jaxon this whole time!?!?!? It's like the author was like omfg what if we throw in a gay storyline for fun! A few chapters back they showed Jaxon looking at Flint shirtless and I was like omg is the author going to make Jaxon gay all of a sudden and well I think she might lmfao Legit came out of nowhere though! Should've had more hints&clues

No I really can't get over the fact that the first book had 500+ pages and nowhere was there any subtle hints or clues that this would become a plot point. 75% finished with this book and it comes out of nowhere!!!! I'm so baffled by the laziness of the author just to throw it in randomly like it's so evident that she just randomly threw it into the plot midway through writing the book. I was really enjoying this book but the sloppiness of this add on is aggravating!!! Like I can't believe the first little hint of this was not even 5 chapters back and it was Grace catching Jaxon looking at Flints abs! And to myself I was like that'd be so unhinged of the author just to throw in a Jaxons gay twist since this is the first we're seeing any hint of awareness that this could happen. But whatever I like Hudson for Grace better anyways so we'll see how this plays out.
