Just because I want to memorialize this, my favorite line so far in the book:

“Helen stop… It’s me! Chris Reynolds! We’ve made out!”

The man is trying to kill her family, but he thinks the fact that he manipulated his way into her life and bed would save his hide… It’s damn poetic justice. LMFAO

I’m saying 34% - I’m on chapter 31 of 90 (it’s all 3 books combined).
Okay, I’m finally liking Helen a little more. She’s finally growing up.
Still love the hell out of Sam. He’s a breath of fresh air. I still wonder, considering his immediate attraction to her, if there isn’t some type of unexplained mate bond…

I don’t think I can like Helen any less than I do right now. She tells Sam she will do anything to be with him and okays him marking her, and now Chris has his hands down her pants?!?
Granted, Sam probably should’ve explained what marking means. They definitely shouldn’t have had the conversation in the middle of sex like they did. But it’s obvious that Helen will say anything where sex is concerned. SMH

OMG the hubris this woman has!!! She constantly talks about her curves and how good her a** looks in whatever she’s wearing, and states that she can get any man on campus except Chris which is why she wants him…
And she doesn’t care how she gets him, accepting a date with him days after he hooks up with her ‘nemesis’. Hey, she can hook up with whoever she wants. More power to the sexually active woman but..

I’m torn with this one. I love bear shifters, I like the step-brother Sam, can’t stand Helen. I’ve got no problem with a female being promiscuous, but does a day go by that she doesn’t get messed up? Also, do your hands have a mind of their own to where they paint whatever they want whether it’s a smart idea or not?
And how does she not see through Chris?
Just not sure I’m gonna finish this one.
