I started volume 3. It is an impressive initial pages! I like his belief about war. He did not just blame politician men, He also condemned soldiers and the armies who did this war equally. I firmly believe that it is a deep insight!

All women in this book are so annoying! Sinister, or ridiculously religious, or idiot, .... I wish there was a kind or logical woman.😬 I hate Princess Maria more than all!
Character development is great. I am starting to like Pierre, while he was immature before. Prince Andre is still my favorite.
Children of Prince Vasily are awful 😬🤭

It is surprising that this book is not really about a war! It is more about lives of multiple family! War is just happening, and does not have a key role.

This book is the most amazing book I have ever red in my entire life! 😁
A marvelous combination of living, romance, war, and politics. There are allkinds of characters in this book, some of those are great 😅 you can easily feel them, and their wrongdoings.
Also, his belief about war sounds interesting to me. He believed that war is not just about commanders and emperors. War is also about every single soldiers and their decision.
There are also multiple epic scenes which I love them. Among those, my favourite scene is when they lose a battle in a city, they started to burn the city and go out of that city, in order not to be useful for French, and not to live under the command of French commanders. Napoleon prepared a speech to show himself off to Russian people, while they live a city, and this made him seriously angry. 😁

Sorry it is a really long answer, I am excited about it.😂🤦
