Probably a 4. the H and the over arching plot in this series a 5. I really like this author and I hope you check her out. If you only read regency you may be disappointed. Highlands gets knocked for brawn, but it has freedom for characters and plot, not focused mainly on society rules. The h’s and H’s are more developed because of that. Great writing but not quite a 5 for me because some h stuff.

I’m really liking seeing the characters from previous series. I hope this is setting up the next gen of the interconnected islands for these two series.

It’s been very fast paced and hard to put down from about 60%. I also love the way HM ends chapters. It makes you start the next one :)

It’s so nice to read a new book from HM. I really like this series and am excited to read this. The last one I think was the weakest but book 1 is one of my favorites from her. Book 2 had a very memorable scene. I wonder what this one will have :)
